The Zuidas, literally "South Axis" in Dutch, is a rapidly developing business district in the city of Amsterdam in the Netherlands. Located in the southern part of the city, the Zuidas is home to numerous skyscrapers, offices, and hotels. It is also a major transportation hub, with direct connections to Amsterdam Airport Schiphol and the rest of the Netherlands.
Things to do in Zuidas
While the Zuidas is primarily a business district, there are also a number of things to do for visitors and residents alike. These include:
- Visiting the modern art museum, the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam
- Shopping at the Gelderlandplein shopping center
- Taking a walk or bike ride through the Beatrixpark

Getting to Zuidas
The Zuidas is easily accessible by public transportation. The nearest metro station is Zuid, which is served by lines 51, 53, and 54. There are also several bus lines that stop in the Zuidas, including lines 62, 162, and 347. By car, the Zuidas is accessible via the A10 ring road.
